A structural steelwork contactor who design, fabricate, paint and erect structural steelwork for the construction industry approached Met-Track^® with a problem of lifting and moving off-cuts of steel.

The steel off-cuts could weigh up to 1Ton and be of various shapes and sizes. For each of the 4 saw/cutting machines, Met-Track^® supplied and installed a floor mounted Met-Track^® workstation jib crane with a 1000Kg SWL to their busy steelwork factory.

Each floor mounted Met-Track^® workstation jib crane was supplied with a 5m span, 3m height of lift, fully powered hoist and slew operation in 2 speeds for greater accuracy and safety.
