A manufacturer of helicopter refueling systems provide fuel tanks to the offshore sector supplying North Sea oil rigs. The company required a safe access system for their employees to access the top of the tanks to fill with fuel.

Following a site survey, Met-Track^® designed and supplied a Met-Track^® 600 SIAB 2 man fall arrest system with supporting steelwork.

The 24m long system provides safe access for up to 2 personnel to move freely and safely without the need to unhook/disconnect from the system allowing them to carry out the refueling process from the top of the tanks.

They ascend using a stairway to a platform and then connect to a fall arrest block attached to the Met-Track^® horizontal rigid anchor rail.
